2008 Chapter Pride Patch Recipients
Greg Bailey joined the Chapter in February 2002 and has been a constant contributor ever
since. We can always count on him to volunteer and pitch-in, whether it is riding sweep, helping to organize parties and picnics, or
just offering words of encouragement to members and officers. He is as comfortable wearing an apron as he is piloting his Harley, and
we are as proud of his culinary accomplishments as we are of his riding record. He has served the Chapter officially as a Road Captain,
Treasurer, breakfast egg and cheese sandwich guy, red-hot award-winning chili chef, and most recently as our H.O.G. Shoppe Proprietor.
Judy Genther joined the Chapter with her husband in June 2003. Her boots were made for
ridin’ and she does a lot of that. If you happen to miss a Chapter ride you can probably get the details from her, because she makes
a point of being on most every ride. Even when she runs out of gas, she finds a way to get to make the ride. She has somehow avoided
being an officer or Road Captain, but she is pretty much a fixture at all chapter activities and events, and we can always count on
her to help out and offer suggestions. She is one of our not-quite-average-height ladies who rides a Heritage Softail Classic, but
you may know her by the license plate: “Mrs. HOG.”
Dave Guido, Master Sergeant, joined the chapter in January 2005, but it was like he’d been a member
forever. He jumped right in with both feet. While he has not been an officer or Road Captain he has been a devoted Woodstock H.O.G.
family member — always helping wherever he can, volunteering to lend a hand, signing up for virtually every committee, helping to
set-up at parties and picnics, to cook, and clean-up. He’s usually the first one to arrive and the last one to leave. He has a long
riding history, which includes many years on crotch rockets, racking up miles both in the U.S. and on foreign soil — we are glad he
switched to a Harley. He loves to ride and he loves to have fun. He wears his chapter colors proudly and we are proud to have this
retired Marine as one of our own.
Charlene Muldoon joined the chapter in April 2002. Although she has her motorcycle license
and her own Sportster, she prefers to navigate from the passenger seat — a job at which she is quite proficient and has logged countless
miles. She is one of those rare members on whom you can count, who volunteers before she is asked, who works quietly in the background,
and who is always looking for ways to make activities more fun. We persuaded her to leave her comfort zone of sitting quietly and observing
at Chapter meetings, and to serve as Secretary for two years. She now keeps track of our Chapter legacy as Historian.
Thank you guys and gals!
