2010 Chapter Pride Patch Recipients
Mike Freer. If you based your knowledge of our first recipient for 2010 by sound, you may not know he’s around except for the
rumble of his pipes. Sure he may be on the quiet side, but Mike is certainly visible and always willing to help. He became involved with the Woodstock HOG Chapter shortly
after becoming a member in 2003. He has served as both our Activities and Safety Officer and is one of our core Road Captains. Mike may have a quiet demeanor, but is
certainly noticeable when it comes to events – especially our HOG-O-Ween parties, where he always sports a great costume and is ready to party. Besides leading great
rides he has unofficially become the Chapters organizer and leader of the Run to the Wall event each year. Mr. Freer is also involved with many other rides that help support
our Veterans and Serviceman. He spends a lot of his time looking for new roads for the Chapter to ride and enjoy. Mike is always willing to help other Road Captains with
their rides which makes him a valuable asset to our Chapter.
Sandra Sinagra has been a member since 2006. She is just one of our many women riders and was recently spotlighted in a local
news publication promoting women riders and being a part of Woodstock HOG. Not long after joining, Sandra became half of the Ladies of Harley team, always working on new and
interesting events, not only for the ladies in the Chapter, but for all of us. For the past two years she continued to work making things fun for our members as the Activities
Officer. While most of us recognize how much time consuming work is involved with these activities, Sandra has a flare for making it look easy and adds a personal touch that many
of us enjoy. She is always striving to make the events fun for all those who attend.
Steve Letus has been an actively involved Chapter member since he first joined Woodstock HOG over 14 years ago. Anyone that has
been part of this group can agree that he is one person that is always willing to help out the Chapter anyway he can. You can easily tell that by his track record which includes
being a Road Captain - twice, Assistant Director – twice, Director, Webmaster, and presently part of our Executive Board that Steve's eagerness to help make this Chapter what it is
has always been a priority to him. Not only has he worked in front and behind the scenes to assist Woodstock HOG to always move forward, Steve has also given us most of our background
soundtrack over the years by volunteering as our music man for Chapter events. To add to his Chapter resume, he was the driving force for the initiation of our Chapter Pride Patch
and was the first Woodstock HOG Member to receive it back in 2003. Mr. Letus' lists of accomplishments are part of this Chapters growth and direction, and his passion for Woodstock
HOG is second to none. Knowing that Steve will always step up whenever needed is one of the many reasons he is certainly a member of great respect. Steve is the first member to
received the Chapter Pride Patch for a second time. Earned and well deserved!
Congratulations to our 2010 Pride Patch awardees.
